Fragrances are the coolest things that everyone wants to apply for the sake of confidence or for feeling fresh the whole day. We all know that most perfumes contain alcohol and alcohol that can damage our senses is haram in Islam. Then the question arises Can we use that or not? Don’t worry about it.

We are here to clear your question according to the Islamic point of view as well as the logical point of view. In this article, you will get an answer to your question and hope this will be worth it for you.

Is Namaz Accepted with Perfume or Not?

In the name of Allah, we praise him and seek forgiveness from him.

Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright (AL QURAN)

We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messenger (NO DOUBT)

Some people say that the fragrance from perfume stays on clothes and the alcohol present in the perfume is evaporated from the clothes as we apply perfume on our clothes.

 Reported from Fiqh-us-Sunnah Fiqh 1.24

Anas reported the Messenger of Allah (saws) said that “Among the things of this world, I love women and fragrance, and the coolness of my eyes is prayer.”

Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said “If someone sends you perfume, do not reject it, for it is light to carry and has a sweet fragrance.

From these aspects, fragrance is the best way to choose for personality looks.

Now it is time to clear the question:

In QURAN ALLAH ALMIGHTY says:

O you who have believed! Khamr, gambling, shrines, and divining devices are all abominable works of Shaitaan; therefore, refrain from these so that you may attain true success!

The thing that invalidates the prayer is the presence of impurities on our clothes. But all the haram things are not impure such as gold is haram for man, but it is pure.

Alcohol is haram when it enters our body and destroys mental nerves. It is a good choice to change the alcohol-containing perfumes with the alcohol-free Atar or all alcohol-free fragrances.

Conclusion

Allah best knows about our internal thinking, so it is better to use alcohol-free fragrances on our clothes during prayer. Hope so this article will be beneficial for you and deliver knowledge to you. Thanks for reading this article and best wishes for your life journey.
